Dear Students,
In addition to the fact that the need for health services is not deferred, the demand for health services is also increasing with the effect of the widespread access to information. Today, thanks to the undeniable effect of technology on the nature of health services, the traditional paradigm in health service provision has started to transform. Thanks to this irreversible transformation, healthcare services have now become more transparent, accessible, questionable and competitive. The management activities that claim to provide effective delivery of that service are affected by this transformation as much as the health service itself. In this transformation process, providing quality and accessible health care, which is the most fundamental human right, is one of the most important managerial skills. As a science, the discipline of healthcare management should claim to understand, define, analyze and direct this transformation thanks to the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary relationship it establishes with many disciplines. Those who will shoulder this claim are well-trained health managers.
Tarsus University Faculty of Applied Sciences Department of Healthcare Management opens its doors to you, young colleague candidates, with this vision.
It will be with individuals who are well-trained in the field of health system management, where there is no uniform truth, but there is no room for mistakes. You will critically examine the current developments in your field, comment on them and work together to reach a common mind in the field of healthcare management. We will always be by your side, trying to create spaces where you can always think freely and put what you think into practice with our competent academicians. Based on the logic of "be the best in your place", we will do our best to help you become individuals who come to the fore by trusting themselves and their knowledge in your business environment.
Putting the principles of equity, competence and freedom in our bag, to many achievements that we can walk in unity...
